Short Helix Necklace

Two half circles are joined to create a full circle pendant. Each arc is made with a large gauge, wound guitar string, and is held in tension by unwound, thin guitar wire. The wire is filled with
gemstones, 99% pure silver Thai beads, and mixed metal accents. Oxidized sterling silver extruded box and small curb chains. Adjustable length from 16" to 19". 
An award winning jeweler once told me: "You don't have any circles. People… they like circles." As simple as that sounds, it launched the Sine and Helix collections and I began sketching that night.
